How can I take a black and white with my Canon 530 digital camera?

Is there a setting in the Canon PowerShot 530 camera digital allows him to shoot in black and white photos? I know I can take pictures in color, then use a graphics program to convert them to scale gray, but I want to take photos as grayscale camera during filming. Is it possible and how?
