how to incubate royal python eggs ?
can you use a 3ft vivarium as an incubator (as long as i use a heat lamp and thermostat to keep the right temperature or do you need a special incubator..... also what substrate do i use in the incubator.... I'm looking at breeding my royal soon but want to make sure i know everything first before trying..... i know how to breed them but don't know how to incubate the eggs....

well first you need to make sure the snakes are the correct weight to breed. females should be no less then 1000grams, most breeders wait till they are 1500 grams. if a female is breed to soon she can become egg bound and that can kill her.
for the incubator you can buy one to make one. just google reptile incubators. ball eggs should be incubated at 90F for about 60 days. the humidity needs to be as close to 100% as you can get.
