Does Isaiah Washington's new PSA excuse his poor behavior?
Another celebrity flapping their mouth in the heat of the moment followed by months of damage control. Granted, Washington is entitled to his views on gays, but when you open your mouth you should be held accountable for what you say. Now his PR people are working frantically to restore his tarnished image. I highly doubt this man has changed his views. What do you all think? Keep answers to the bigger issue please... we don't need flames, bigotry, and anti-gay slurs. The issue is: does public apology equate to personal accountability? What do you think would be the best course of action for Mr. Washington to take?
No it doesn't excuse his behavior. What is done is done. He has already proved that he has a prejudice against gay people. I think it is just a way to try and make up for it and so he doesn't loose his career.
